monthly newsletter

A free monthly newsletter. An exploration of ritual and self-facilitation across contexts to generate inspiration, reflection, and invite tiny experiments for everyday life.

We are happy you are here. Form and Flow came together after years of project partnership, friendship, travel, and collaborations. Through our own experience and reflection we grew to understand the importance of holding both the structure or containers of a project as well as the magic that happens when presence, intuition, and connection can lead the way. We wanted to continue these conversations and be in conversation with others as they build partnerships, projects, engage in research, and navigate stuck points. Form and Flow offers many entry points to support your work and we are excited to learn about the layers, containers, constraints, and opportunities for expansiveness that are present for you while providing support and community along the way

- Leila & Chantelle

Dr. Leila Angod, Ph.D

Leila is an award-winning scholar and educator with more than two decades of experience. An exploration of worldbuilding practices threads through Leila’s publications, community-engaged research, and arts-based methods. Trained as a sociologist, her approach to thinking with young people and facilitators centres feelings, the body, and social structures to co-theorize power hierarchies, resistance, refusal, and transformation.

Leila is writing her first novel, a contemporary story with historical and speculative elements that explores the afterlives of indenture in Canada at an elite school.

Her teaching centres community-engaged and arts-based approaches to the co-production of knowledge through approaches including visual journaling, zines, PhotoVoice, and body mapping.

Dr. Chantelle Quesnelle, Ed.D., C.Psych.

Chantelle is a psychologist with experience spanning clinical support, school mental health leadership, research, consultation, and collaborative work with young people, educators, multidisciplinary teams, and system leaders on mental health initiatives. These experiences continue to shape her work as a psychologist and reinforce her belief that mental health is deeply connected to identity, relationships, systems, access, belonging, and creativity.

Rooted in an asset-based and playful approach, Chantelle is guided from a place of curiosity, collaboration, and cultural humility. She understand that each person’s experience is shaped not only by who they are, but also by the communities and systems they move through each day.
